I recently gave Tryon another chance because my friend said they have all new bartenders since I had been. They have good lunch specials and strong drinks. I won't be a regular but it's nice to have another dive close to my house.

Forgettable. I have hung out here a few times over the years. Best feature is their Pizza.
It's a sports bar with lots of taps, varied clientele, a bit of a patio, pool tables, TVs with Sport on. Just not that memorable. Nothing wrong with it, just ordinary. A few unbussed tables, etc.
I had couple ciders on my last visit and some nachos. I joined a friend after work. The nachos were okay, but lacked height, panache.
I recommend stopping in for a beer and not expecting an experience. But I do recall their Pizza is solid. Parking is difficult, be patient. -

The pub has some inexpensive happy hour meals and some low-cost breakfasts served Saturday and Sunday until 4 pm.

Pretty bummed out by the terrible terrible terrible service here. This was my first visit tonight and definitely my last. I can't even try to give this place another try.
We decided to meet some friends here because it's the perfect location between both of our houses. We got here at 7 to watch a blazer game. Sat at a table (in what looks like more of the dining room vs bar area) we assumed you were served because we didn't see any signs that say order at bar. Several times there was a waitress that walked past us but never stopped. I finally had to grab one to order a drink. Which we were never offered another drink in 3 hours...? The server seemed like she was high almost... and really rude/off putting. Seemed like we were bothering her when I asked for a drink. So when I had to go to the bar to close out I asked her "did we miss something? Where we supposed to order at the bar for future reference? She looked at me with confusion and said no? I served you at your table didn't I? I wasn't trying to be rude by any means but come on? Your job title is a server.... the least you could do was serve us... or even check on us once in 3 hours?
Would not recommend and will not be returning. -

Went for Sunday football with a group of people. Showed up and was immediately acknowledged by the server who came over took our drink order, got our drinks and took our food order. Our food came out fairly quickly for how busy it was. I throughly enjoyed my veggie Benedict. The bartender recommended it with avo, tomato and spinach. It was so yummy I ate every single bite on the plate. Other friends joined us for drinks and food! Everything was amazing except for the nachos that took an hour. Besides that everything was amazing! I will back again!
